Choose life, not obesity
Weight loss products are one of the most plentiful products out there in the market, there’s absolutely no shortage of them, and the reason why is because a large number of the general population are obese and they want to lose weight.
It’s really great that these people understand that their obesity is a detriment to their health and they want to make a change in their life for the better, but unfortunately most of the weight loss products out there really don’t help much. We hate to say this but a lot of the information in weight loss books and diet guides are just rehashed formulas written in a different form, and all translate back to eating healthy and exercising regularly. The same with the products, they may offer a great exercise product that will tell you to do this and you’ll have a completely new body in 6 weeks, but the truth is you can do the same exercise in the gym or maybe even on your own with the same results.
There’s no magic pill, shake, or book out there that can replace the basics of weight loss. There are three things that cure obesity, it’s a strong desire to want to get your health back on track, eating right and exercising regularly. That’s all there is to it.
Even though the steps are so simple, almost 50% of the US population is still overweight.
So then the question becomes what’s holding these people back from wanting to improve their health by losing weight?
If you ask anybody that has tried to lose weight before, if they had a strong desire to lose weight, they’ll most likely answer yes. If you asked if they ate healthy and exercised regularly their answer would probably also be yes.. but somewhere along the line they lost the motivation to keep up with their diet and exercise.
There’s your answer.
A very large number of people who try to lose weight start off great, like a train moving full speed ahead, but somewhere along the line the steam starts to die down, and eventually the train stops completely. Which marks where these people fail.
The best answer we can think of to help solve this problem is for them to either have a support coach with them every step of the way to encourage them and remind them of the reward at the end. Or another great answer would be to join a support group where everybody is there to help each other lose weight, where you can push each other to reach your goals.
If you are trying to lose weight you really have to take a deep look into the consequences of being obese, and understand that unless you commit to change, you’ll be improving your chances of suffering from a disease or illness brought on by obesity.
Diseases caused by obesity are one of the leading causes of death in the United States. Obesity can lead to cardiovascular disease, heart attacks, diabetes, respiratory problems, and even mental health problems because it could affect our self-esteem and other areas of our life.
Commit to change, commit to yourself, say no to obesity.
