**Il Faenza Social Forum (nome provvisorio anche se probabilmente sarà anche il definitivo per nostra mancanza di fantasia) è ancora in fase costitutiva e per il momento ha impostato un programma di base costituito da alcuni gruppi di lavoro in relazione alai temi più pressanti. Stiamo considerando di presentarci ufficialmente alle istituzioni a breve scadenza e, per il momento, portiamo avanti una collaborazione che speriamo fattiva con i Forum più vicini (Imola e Forlì).
A Roma probabilmente saremo pochi (speriamo per tutti e tre i giorni), anche perché stiamo preparando una giornata di sensibilizzazione locale a Modigliana (FO) per il giorno 11, a proposito delle coltivazioni intensive che stanno depauperando il patrimonio idrico delle nostre vallate.

Venerdi 9 novembre ad Acquapendente (VT), presso la biblioteca comunale,

National Alliance of Peoples' Movements (NAPM) are already in action:

Indefinite strike against the WTO (the Second Freedom Struggle) involving:
- A national tour starting on the 2nd October
- Mass rallies at state level and memo to the governor (5th Nov)
- The seizure of grain from government stockpiles if these stocks are not
distributed before the Qatar summit!
- 3 days blocking national highways.
- The harvesting of crops grown on public land and land appropriations

The Indonesian Peasant Federation (SPJB) plans of action:

· posters on privatisation/so-what-the-hell-is-the-WTO? etc., with a strong London Underground focus.
· On the Global Day of Action against the WTO London Reclaim the Streets will be Havin' a L.A.R.C !! (LARC = London Action Resource Centre, a newly opened permanent co-operatively-owned and run building in east London working for social and ecological justice.)
On November 9th, London Reclaim the Streets - the original party and protest people - will be adding to the mix with a benefit and teach-in at the all new London Action Resource Centre, including Music, Food, Drink, a slideshow and Report from the recent 3rd International Peoples' Global Action conference in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and screening an inspiring Film about the successes of recent protests against water privatisation in Bolivia.

Globaler Aufstand gegen Kapitalismus am 10.November
1994 begann der Aufstand der Zapatistas, dessen Geist bald in die ganze Welt getragen wurde...
1998 wurde der erste Global Action Day veranstaltet. 2 Jahre später kann bereits von einer globalen Bewegung gesprochen werden. 2001 kommt sie sogar in Deutschland an. Viele Netzwerke wurden gegründet, die die Proteste koordinieren und tragen. Angestoßen wurde die Entwicklung unter anderen von Peoples´ Global Action (PGA). Lokale, aber international vernetzte Direct Action-Netzwerke entstanden. (In Deutschland scheiterte 2001 die Gründung).
Lokale Netzwerke, die anlässlich von Aktionstagen geründet wurden -wie etwa das GSF in Genua- umfassen mehrere hundert Gruppen und Organisationen. In Deutschland und Frankreich boomt Attac - ein Netzwerk, dem verschiedenste Gruppen -bis hin zu Gewerkschaften und NGOs- angehören.

Eine größe Aktion läuft in Frankfurt/M.
